Why did you choose to practice pediatrics?
I have always loved pediatrics. I love how kids can bounce back when they are feeling better and how sweet they are.
What is most rewarding about your work?
I love seeing a kid get better and knowing I helped them through their sickness.
How does being a parent help in the way you provide care and work with your patients and their families?
I do not have children myself, but a lot of my friends have kids and I try to learn from them in how they approach children. I appreciate how hard parents take care of their kids and I appreciate them trusting me to take care of them.
When working with your patients and their families, what is your approach?
I like to listen, answer all questions, and take the time to educate parents.
How do you stay healthy and happy?
I love walking my dogs and love running on my free time. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and being outside.
