Why did you choose to practice pediatrics?
I truly enjoy providing medical care in the pediatric urgent care setting, as I get to help my patients and their families. It’s my privilege to be able to work with this tender group of patients and help their parents/caregivers solve their healthcare concerns.
I always strive to continue to learn and grow in my field and am proud to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and to be certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Pediatrics.
As a parent, how does that impact and/or help in the way you provide care and work with your patients and their families?
I am a father to two sons. Having raised them, I know what it is like when your child is sick or needs advanced care and that helps me care for my patients with a greater compassion.
When working with your patients and their families, what is your approach?
I strive to provide sound and efficient medical care in an expeditious manner. The families I work with benefit from this style of service and that is very rewarding to me.
How do you stay healthy and happy?
I enjoy working out and eating healthy food. In my spare time I like driving and reading.
